Vance's first day of preschool

Today my little man started preschool. He was so excited to start that he woke up at 2am and came into my room fully dressed in his school uniform. He announced "Mom, I'm ready for school!" I had to send him back to bed and have him change into his jammies. I woke him up at 6:30 fed him breakfast and got him dressed and ready for school.

He LOVED it!!! Ms. Robin is his teacher's name and he was really good today. He can't wait to go back! Blessed beyond words for this opportunity and blessed to have such a good little boy.

Preschool Registration

I am overjoyed to announce that on Monday January 9th we will be enrolling Vance in preschool at Mountain View Christian School! He is so excited and talks about it constantly. Thank you God and the amazing people in my life that have helped make this possible. We are so blessed! More to come and of course pictures on his first day!

Goal #2

My second goal for this year is to finish my Master's degree. This may be harder than it sounds considering currently I have been unenrolled (is that a word) from my college! I am hoping to have this resolved and enrolled in classes again by end of this month. God willing I will be back on track and able to complete my degree by December! :)

New Year, New Goals!

2012 is going to be a great year! I am not making resolutions this year instead I am going to set goals. Small, attainable goals. The first goal of the year that I am going to set is Gossip less, Praise more! We all know that gossiping isn't something we should do and if we are all honest with ourselves we all probably gossip in one way or another. So this year I am going to try to not gossip and instead praise or compliment people. The power of a kind word is great and can make a person's day!
